The information you usually find online is that poker players don't receive any rakeback. This isn't entirely true, because in our tests playing exclusively poker, we had Bronze status activated in the VIP program, which gives us 10% weekly rakeback.

How did we achieve this? We did several things:

Peak traffic occurs in the afternoons/evenings in America, so European players will have to adjust their schedules slightly. We highlight some special features:

Regarding Boost Poker, although it was launched a couple of years ago, there are only two active limits, but with enough connections to grind. When it comes to PLO, things are much better: a fluctuating number of low-skill players, many of them at high stakes. Most of the traffic is on the Hi/Lo, PLO5, and PLO6 versions.

We decided to play Boost Poker, ideal for this test as it allows us to try out several features of the software at the same time. We joined four tables simultaneously, and after clicking, we were betting within 10 seconds. The quality of the traffic here is also very good: a bit of ABC poker would be enough to grow your bankroll. We saw very passive players, slow-playing until the very last street.

Tournaments

BetOnline Poker guarantees over $10,000,000 per month in its tournament schedule, even when no special series are being held.

Interviews with our players revealed that BetOnline is an excellent site for playing MTT tournaments. While the guaranteed prize pools aren't very high compared to other sites, the field is quite soft, and the volume of daily events is sufficient even for grinding at mid-to-high stakes (buy-ins up to $109).

BetOnline Poker and the Winning Poker network make an excellent pair if you're looking to play tournaments. More than 50 events are held every day, with the following being the most popular:

Regarding MTT formats, we find regulars, PKO, NLH, PLO, rebuys, satellites, in addition to the already very popular Mystery Bounty.

BetOnline's Sit & Go section deserves special mention, as it remains one of the few sites where this format is very popular and boasts a wide variety of options: Mystery Bounty 6-max from $1.5 to $30; 8-Bomb up to $30; heads-up from $1.5 to $100; and satellites to various tournaments.

One thing we liked about BetOnline's tournaments is that the fields are usually not very large. Of course, they can last several hours, but it's normal to compete against 300-400 players and not thousands, which makes a significant difference to the experience.

Guaranteed tournaments, of course, can't compete with those on major networks like GGPoker or WPN, but you'll find $20,000 guaranteed events with a $55 buy-in every day. Don't expect overlays; expect a friendly field.

However, we don't recommend playing MTTs on your mobile phone, as staring at the screen for 2-3 hours might not be very comfortable. For mobile, we recommend Sit & Gos or Spin & Gos instead.

Jackpot Windfall

BetOnline's Spin & Go lobby (Windfall) is another attempt to entice a more conservative audience. It's the only logical explanation for the various tournament types with buy-ins ranging from $0.25 to $30. The structure is the same as in other rooms: three-player hyper-turbo Sit & Go tournaments, including Open Face Chinese.

The highest multiplier is 2,500x, it can be awarded in all regular Windfall tournaments, and the maximum prize is $75,000. The odds are not publicly available, so we consider this a game designed for casual players.

When we played, we didn't have to wait long to get four tables, and the traffic was definitely valuable: even playing with the recreational player profile activated, we managed to win few tournaments, in which our preflop all-ins were called by marginal hands like 42 or K4.

Unfortunately, we weren't lucky with the multipliers, and all the tournaments we played were x2.

In summary: BetOnline's traffic is a pleasant surprise. We found enough tables in almost every format offered to play comfortably, as well as tournaments with good guaranteed prize pools. The presence of American players coming from the sportsbook creates a very soft field that appeals to all types of players.

Skill level

The moments we enjoyed most during this evaluation were the countless bad beats we received. Why? They are a reliable indicator of the quality of the traffic at the tables. Recreational players who play mainly for fun are overconfident in their draws, and when they have a pair, they are willing to go all in. We saw this in two-card and four-card cash games, tournaments, Spins, in short, in all formats.

Attitude towards professional and regular players

In line with the previous point, we must say that the room's policies are, at least in part, responsible for the quality of the traffic. Although professional players are welcome and can play without issue, the truth is that they won't find many incentives to stay.

The costs are high, the software is incompatible by default with specialized tools, there aren't many promotions, and only those who can truly adapt their game to their opponents without relying on additional payments will feel comfortable in the long run.

BOL Poker claims to have a license in Panama, although this cannot be verified and is not the most prestigious. However, it has stood the test of time and proven its reliability. It's also worth noting that this type of license is common among US poker sites.

Although the links to the RNG certificate are not visible on the site, the Connective Games software was tested by iTech Labs and GLI. We have observed that the site has a clear KYC policy, requesting documents and proof from various players, which positively impacts trust.

The poker room's reputation is also confirmed by regular refunds to players who have lost to bots. There was also a unique instance of a jackpot payout for a hand that was never played due to an internet connection interruption.

Overall, BetOnline has not been involved in any unresolved public scandals. We have no record of any issues with payments.

Payments, withdrawals, and KYC

The list of available cashier options is directly affected by BetOnline's focus on the US market. The only payment methods are cryptocurrencies (also cards, but we don't mention them much due to the many restrictions and costs involved). In addition to Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, Tether, Bitcoin Cash, USD Coin, and Ripple are accepted.

Withdrawals at BetOnline have the following conditions established in their policy:

• Withdrawals are only processed on business days and within 24 hours.
• The account must be verified.
• After making a deposit, the balance must be transferred to the "Poker" section.

We processed our deposit at BetOnline in less than 10 clicks. $50 to test the tables and all the room's features. We sent Tether on the Polygon network, which is much cheaper, although ERC20, TRC20, and BNB are also available.

Fortunately for this review, we had to go through the Know Your Customer (KYC) process to withdraw money from our account. Less than 20 minutes after requesting the payment, we received an email asking us to call a US phone number.
