FishPoker app review

FishPoker is a new mobile poker app launched in 2023. The app's games correspond to private club games from Asian clubs.

The FishPoker client can be downloaded from the App Store (iPhone) and Google Play (Android). The RNG is certified by Gaming Labs, and the app was developed by ex-employees of PPPoker.

FishPoker has an independent team in charge of game security.

FishPoker clubs

As of today, WPD players have access to three Asian unions:

1. Pinoy Prime: Up to a dozen 6-max and 8-max tables in Hold’em and Omaha up to $0.09/0.18. Occasionally, 1-2 OFC tables are played with jackpots starting at 10 cents
2. Malaysian: Hold’em games at 8-max tables at five stakes from NL40 to NL400. At peak time up to 10 tables can be seen active. There is PLO and PLO5 traffic at similar stakes and traffic as NLH. On weekends, games up to $5/$10 are played.
3. Syndicate Union: Young union with Hold’em and Omaha games in the same proportions at five active stakes from $0.20/$0.40 to $2/$4. We have seen up to 10 tables in total during peak time.

How to join a FishPoker club?

1. Get the club ID from your agent.
   
   
   
   
2. In the main menu of the app click on the magnifying glass icon.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter the club and agent details.
4. Click “Join.”

Once the application is accepted you can see the club badge in the main lobby of the app.

FishPoker rake and rakeback

The club administrators determine each club's commission. In the vast majority of cases, the rake is 5%, with caps up to 3bb.

A jackpot is played at cash games. You must lose with at least four of a kind to win it. The jackpot portion depends on the stake at which the hand was played.

The Fish Poker app allows the creation of tables in the following poker formats:

Since the app was launched relatively recently, club managers mainly create 4/6/8-max tables in Hold’em and PLO5 Omaha.

The number of limits and tables available varies from club to club. Peak traffic at Fish Poker also depends on the club you play at, but since almost all players on the app live in Asia, most games are played very early in European time.

When writing this review (September 2024), traffic at Fish Poker clubs was almost evenly split between Hold’em and Omaha at stakes up to NL/PLO400. Higher stakes games are occasionally played on weekends.

FishPoker app overview

The Fish Poker client is very similar in interface and functionality to other poker club apps.
There is support for Android and iOS. You must use an emulator to play from a PC, but you should first check with your agent if the club of your choice allows this.

External HUD and VPNs are prohibited at Fish Poker.

There are built-in statistics (a window that opens when you click on the player avatar). You must purchase a VIP card to gain access to an extended statistics package. By default, only the number of hands and VPIP are displayed.

You can play at up to 3 tables from one account.

Fish Poker does not have a gaming license as it is an application in which you play for virtual chips. The level of security of the players' funds depends on their affiliate or agent. WPD guarantees 100% of the players' deposits.

Deposits and withdrawals

Only the agent cashier operates in the room. Financial operations are made with cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin or USDT. Deposits are processed almost immediately during business hours (08:00 - 23:00 CET). Withdrawals are processed daily around 22:00 CET.
