Phenom Poker is a new cryptocurrency online poker room created by a team of professional players, the most famous of whom is Brian Rast.
The project's creators call Phenom Poker the first poker site where every player is its owner. It is developed as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO):
Players' money is stored in external Web-3 wallets, and transactions to and from the tables are regulated by smart contracts.
At the time of writing this review (October 2024), the lobby offered Hold’em, Omaha, and Mixed Games with stakes from $0.02/$0.05 to $300/$600. The game currency was USDT Tether.
Currently, the Rewards Program is the only bonus at Phenom Poker. The loyalty program has five levels. Rakeback payments are made weekly in Phenom Token.
Level | Required points | Time to level up | Rakeback | Discount in merch |
---|---|---|---|---|
Bronze | 0 | - | 15% | - |
Silver | 100 | 30 days | 17,50% | - |
Gold | 1,500 | 90 days | 22,50% | 15% |
Platinum | 10,000 | 180 days | 27,50% | 25% |
Phenom | 120,000 | 365 days | 35% | 40% |
For every dollar paid in rake, the player receives 1 point.
First deposit bonus details:
The Grand Prix Leaderboard is a weekly rake race with a progressive prize pool.
You can check the amount of points you have in the poker room's client.
The Phenom Token works with smart contracts on the Ethereum network (ERC-20 standard). A total of 50 million tokens will be issued, half of which players will receive through various bonuses (these can be exchanged for USDT directly in the client).
It is not possible to buy the Phenom Token.
Phenom Poker token holders can vote on the updates proposed by the administration. Every week, 50% of the rake in USDT is distributed among the holders.
The amount of Phenom Token is calculated weekly based on the rake received.
The rake at Phenom Poker cash games is distributed according to the weighted contributed method (the rake assigned to each player depends on his contribution to the pot).

Phenom Poker is a very young online poker site, so the traffic volume is currently at most 100 connections.
The peak of games at Phenom Poker is in the evenings in the United States. The action is NL25-600$ (HU, 6-max, 9-max formats). You can also see tables in Omaha, Super Circus Mix, and Stud.
The Phenom Poker client offers tables of:
Tournaments MTT, SnG, and Chinese Poker OFC are under development.
Phenom Poker operates on a web browser client developed by an in-house team. It is well-suited for desktop PCs and Android and iOS mobile devices.
The app has a classic interface with a navigation menu at the top and a table lobby at the bottom. On the right side of the window, you can find information about the balance, VIP level, cashier, and settings.
Tables cannot be viewed from the lobby. There are waiting lists. Tables automatically open a new web browser window.
Players can customize the appearance of tables, change bet sizes, make notes about opponents, and change avatars.
Trackers are not supported. Hand history is only available for the current session at a specific table.
Phenom Poker is managed by the Panamanian company Phenom Poker S.A. The team is located in Las Vegas; the founder and director is Matt Valeo (a player and businessman from Colorado).
Obtaining a license and RNG certificate, creating its own token, and storing player funds in external wallets speaks of the serious and professional approach of the creators of Phenom Poker.
However, considering the poker room has just opened its doors, we recommend trying the tables and feedback based on the gaming experience to move up the levels.
Since the development stage of the poker room, several world-famous players joined the team:
Although most of Phenom Poker's professional players represent the United States, there are also members from Canada, Spain, and Colombia.
Brian Rast commented that Matt Valeo approached him to discuss the Phenom Poker project and asked for his support as an ambassador. Rast was interested in the new poker room's approach and agreed to work with them.
Phenom Poker players must verify their accounts. To do so, they must attach a copy of their ID (passport, driver's license) and complete a webcam verification.
This process takes just a few minutes.
Deposits and withdrawals at Phenom Poker can only be made in USDT (Polygon).
The network's blockchain defines all limits and fees. The poker room does not limit transactions or charge fees.
Players can add friends and make P2P transfers.
We highlight the following advantages of the room:
