Nearly a year after becoming one of the few European ambassadors for Phenom Poker, Viktor “Isildur1” Blom delivered a stunning performance at the $2,000/$4,000 tables.

Between April 8 and 19, 2026, the Swedish high roller increased his bankroll from $13,626 to $1,753,000.

Although the action took place at 6-max tables, most sessions effectively played out as heads-up.

True to his peak years, Viktor played a wide variety of poker games. In total, he played 20,995 hands. Over half were played in 8-Game Mix, though his biggest profits came from 2-7 Triple Draw.

The player also had three days where he lost a significant portion of his profits, but then returned to the tables and won even more.

During these days, "Isildur1" faced off against well-known high rollers:

Blom’s biggest loss ($254,781) came against Tabagari during their April 17 clash at the $200/$400 PLO5 tables, a session that accounted for all five of his largest pots in the series.

The Swede lost the biggest pot of $116,881 when Teimuraz rivered a flush draw against trips.

Notably, two years ago Phil Galfond suggested that a new “Isildur1” wouldn’t be possible in the solver era. Yet at 35, Viktor Blom has shown he can still deliver extraordinary results against the strongest opponents.
