Bill Perkins sits with over $500k on GGPoker

Any poker player love to watch a high stakes match. With hundreds of thousands of dollars at stake, each decision is worth a lifetime. GGPoker is becoming the home of nosebleed cash games ($200/$400+), and this week, we have spotted famous players at the tables.

Several years after the closure of FTP, nosebleed cash games are back to online poker. On August 18 we spotted the following high stakes tables on GGPoker:

Table 1: $500 / $1,000:

There were additional tables with other players involved. Perkins had a fantastic session leaving the tables with almost a million dollars in total, with a maximum buy-in of $200k.

Interesting hands:

  • All-in pre-flop between Perkins and Saavedra for $240,183 facing the AA of Bill against the TT of Manuel. After running it twice, Perkins won the entire pot; on the second board, both players hit a set on the flop;
  • All-in on the flop for $283,315 against Mcclean, who had a straight flush draw while Perkins had a set of sixes that won the hand after running it twice.

For some time, the high stakes action was so exciting that each of the three high roller tables had over 150 viewers. Also, another $500/$1,000 was being players. About Omaha, the highest available stake was PLO $200/$400.

As soon as Perkins left the game, Manuel sat out, and their seats were immediately taken by Jacob Schindler, MJ Gonzales, and Yim Nam Bjorn Li.

We spotted Perkins using the new SnapCam feature to celebrate his best hands and asking about a HU match between Wiktor "Limitless" Malinowski and MJ Gonzales.
