Dual Venom tourneys start this Sunday

We’ve been letting you know about the $8 Million Mystery Bounty Venom and $2 Million PLO Venom tourneys at ACR Poker. And now the big starting day is this weekend on Sunday, August 4th. This is the first of five Day 1’s and both tourneys run on all the same days. It all culminates with the Final Table on Tuesday, August 20th.

Win your seats through Venom Fever

Each of the dual Venom tourneys comes with a $2,650 buy-in but you can qualify for cheap or even free though their Venom Fever satellites which are already underway.

Take a look at the main Venom Fever details for each of the tourneys below.

$8 Million Mystery Bounty

ACR Poker is guaranteeing a big 893 seats via Venom Fever, broken down below.

Multi-flight tourneys: These have 55 total guaranteed seats and come with just a $16.50 buy-in, so they are very affordable for all players.

Mega Satellites: There are 309 seats through the Megas. The direct buy-ins range from $55 up to $630 but you can even qualify for $0 through the path.

Direct Satellites: There are tons of these satellites to choose from, with 369 total guaranteed seats. And the direct buy-ins also very reasonable, starting at only $33.

Beast Satellites: This is their weekly rake race tourney. The buy-in is $95 but you can qualify for $0 by ranking on the weekly leaderboard. There are 160 total GTD seats through the Beast, with these two tourneys remaining:

Sunday, August 4th at 6:05pm ET: 30 Seats GTD.
Sunday, August 11th at 6:05pm ET: 40 Seats GTD

$2 Million PLO

There are 100 total seats guaranteed through Venom Fever. It’s broken down to 60 through Direct Satellites and 40 through Mega Satellites.

This is the biggest Mystery Bounty and PLO tournament that ACR Poker has ever held. This is also the first time that either format has been used for one of their Venom events.

In the Mystery Bounty tourney, you can earn up to $500,000 for a single knockout and the minimum bounty is not too shabby either at $5,000. You’ll also want to know that the winner in the PLO Venom is estimated to take home $400,000.
