GGPoker to send 1,124 players to WSOP 2024 Main Event
GGPoker has confirmed that it will be responsible for 10% of the field of the most important poker tournament of the year: the $10,000 WSOP Main Event. The figures are impressive: more than 1,000 players will arrive in Las Vegas thanks to the promotions organized by the world's largest online poker room.
10% of the field
The partnership between GGPoker and the World Series of Poker (WSOP) continues to be confirmed as one of the most successful in poker history. In 2024, players could start their dream of entering the $10,000 Main Event from as little as $1.
As promised by GGPoker when announcing its traditional Road to Vegas, more than 1,000 players will participate in the WSOP Main Event 2024, thanks to the different promotions of the world's largest poker room.
The numbers shared by GGPoker are:
- Road to Vegas Global Promotion: 732 players
- Road to Vegas Canada Promotion: 59 players
- ClubGG qualifiers: 100 players
- Buy-in directly through GGPoker.com: 233 players
With each package valued at $12,000, GGPoker's promotions to bring players to the WSOP exceeded ten million dollars in prizes.
Remember that both GGPoker qualified and direct buy-in players have exclusive promotions, including access to the GGPoker Platinum Lounge, discounts at Caesars properties, and the promise of winning an extra $1,000,000 if someone is crowned Main Event champion.
Last year, the WSOP 2023 Main Event had a record turnout of 10,043 participants, so if the numbers were similar (some expect even the record to be broken), GGPoker would be responsible for 10% of the total field. The tournament will be played from July 3 to 17 in Las Vegas.
