What is the Bad Beat Jackpot at GGPoker?

The Bad Beat Jackpot is a bonus paid when, based on the hand's results, the player loses with a powerful combination—when a significant “bad beat” occurs at the table.

At GGPoker the Bad Beat Jackpot has an additional word in its name: Rebirth.

Interestingly, when there is a bad beat, not only the “victim” (although he usually receives the largest portion) but also his opponent in the hand, and all the players sitting at the table receive prizes.

Then, the Bad Beat Jackpot turns the loss of a hand due to bad luck into a delightful moment in the session. This is because the prizes are usually much larger than the money lost in the hand.
Attention! The Bad Beat Jackpot does not apply to all tables:

• All-in or Fold: has an independent Jackpot for getting very strong combinations.
• VIP (limits from $25/$50 and with ante at $50 in Short deck).

How does the Bad Beat Jackpot work?

The Bad Beat Jackpot at GGPoker is triggered at cash games when you lose with any of the following combinations:

• Hold’em: full house of aces and tens (AAATT)
• Short Deck: four of a kind sixes (6666x)
• Omaha: four of a kind two (2222x)
• 5-card Omaha: four of a kind eights (8888x)

The following conditions must also be met:

• The hand must reach the showdown.
• The player must use both private hands in Hold’em and two in PLO/PLO5.
• Only the first board will be considered if the Run It Twice option is active.
• It doesn’t matter if the player disconnects or closes the table after going all-in; if the conditions
• mentioned above are met, he will receive a prize.

How is the Bad Beat Jackpot prize pool formed?

The Bad Beat Jackpot prize pool does not have a fixed prize. It is made up of funds collected from pots that meet the following conditions:

• Hold’em and Omaha if the pot equals or exceeds 30BB. In this case, 1BB is taken.
• In Short Deck, if the pot equals or exceeds 100 ante, one blind is taken.

How are payouts distributed?

At the end of the hand, the Jackpot prizes are credited to the player’s account, which can be used for play or withdrawal.

The player receives a portion of the current Bad Beat Jackpot prize pool of the stake:

• Hand loser: 10%
• Hand winner: 3%
• All other players at the table: 0.8%
