GGPoker welcomes Wiktor Malinowski to its Poland Team
GGNetwork is definitely not going to stop on its way to becoming TOP1 in the online poker industry. They recently made the next step by signing a deal with another top pro — Polish Wiktor Malinowski. Why him? Let's try to figure it out.
Expansion of GGTeam
As you probably know, GGTeam consists of a Global Team and several country-specific teams. There are 4 world-known pro players in the first one:
- Daniel Negreanu (Canada)
- Bertrand' ElkY' Grospellier (France)
- Dan Bilzerian (USA)
- Fedor Holz (Germany)
Also, they have Team China (5 members), Team Russia (3), Team Brazil (1). And the latest addition happened in the form of Team Poland:
On September 21, 2021, Wiktor "Limitless" Malinowski joined the GGTeam.
Malinowski confirmed the news in this Twitter account in a short video in Polish, saying he will be promoting poker across the country and being more active in social media.
In February 2022, another popular Polish player, Kacper "JoKeR" Pyzara joined Malinowski in the team.
Establishing such teams is probably the way for GGNetwork to attract more new players from the particular regions, which they consider the most interesting in the long-run perspective. Signing ambassadors from the LatAm region is no wonder these days - PokerStars and partypoker have been doing it recently. But Team Poland is definitely something new.
Still, it's worth noting that interest in the Polish market didn't appear just recently. Let us remind you that back in August 2020, Polish localization of poker software was launched along with the GGPoker Polska Twitter account. There's even a special weekly $5 buy-in tournament for Polish players called "POLSKIE ŚRODY" (Polish Wednesdays).
According to the GGPoker website, the next member of Team Poland is "coming soon" (the same goes for Team Brazil for over a year). So let's take a closer look at the first representative of the new Eastern European team - Wiktor "Limitless" Malinowski.
