For over 20 years, different poker rooms have had a place of honor in the industry. Starting with long-forgotten Paradise Poker, the pre-Black Friday version of partypoker, and the omnipresent PokerStars. All of those rooms had in common that the success was due to massive strategy, and only world-recognized brands were able to fight for the throne. But the new sheriff in town changed the scene: the Malaysian network IDNPoker reached the TOP-1 in the PokerScout ranking on June 4th, 2019.
Last week the PokerScout list suddenly changed: the Asian network IDNPlay reached the top of the ranking and held this position during the week. Of course, this doesn't mean that IDNPoker Network is now the online poker industry leader. PokerScout only takes the cash games average traffic, but no one can deny the massive PokerStars MTT series, and after all, Stars has been a recognized brand for many years and unlike IDN, never has been involved in any dark stories.
But, it's also undeniable that seeing an unknown poker network at the top of the ranking is a significant event, but we can say that the great merit for this goes to PokerStars itself and not IDN. In recent years, The Stars Group has not only embraced the "anti-reg" path but also the players have been "squeezed" by the room in terms of zero rakeback or zero promotions, and it's actively diversifying the source of income, focusing on casino games and recreational games.

* June 4th, 2019; this picture not only shows IDN on the top but also proves the quick evolution of poker in Asia.
By coincidence or not, the increase in cash games traffic happened right after the first month of the re-opening of our deal with the IDNPoker Network at ShenPoker.
Right now, our players are satisfied not only with the amazing IDNPoker traffic (only one of ten players leave the network) but also with the exclusive rakeback deal from WPD:
IDNPoker features incredibly soft action not only at low and mid-stakes but also NL1k-NL3k tables. For players ready to jump into the wilds of the Asian poker world and join extremely weak lineups without HUD, please contact our manager Timofey to get all the ShenPoker deal details.
