$150,000 GTD Summer Micro Tournament Series on Chico Poker Network
For the second year in a row, the US-friendly Chico Poker Network announces a tournament festival for low-stakes players – the Summer Micro Tournament Series at the beginning of summer. This time, at least $150,000 will be played across 35 events. All the details of the event are in our article.
Features of the series
The management of the Chico Poker Network has repeatedly stated that its main goal is to create comfortable conditions for amateur poker players. Therefore, it's only natural that the site hosts tournament festivals with low buy-ins.
There were two such events last year; the first in 2023 was announced this week.
From June 25 to July 2, 2023, TigerGaming, BetOnline, and SportsBetting will host the Summer Micro Tournament Series guaranteeing $150,000 across 35 events.
Compared to last year's summer series:
- Tournament buy-ins range from $1.1 to $22, doubling the maximum entry. Six $22 events are planned.
- The total number of events has been reduced by two, but the guarantee has increased: the average prize pool (excluding the opening freeroll) is $4,265, increasing by more than $500.
- The start time of the events is from 13:00 to 22:30 ET time.
- The top 50 players at the end of the festival will share more than $5,000 in tournament dollars (tickets for $109 for the regular Sunday Main). Points in this leaderboard are awarded based on the final place in the tournament, its buy-in, and the number of participants.
- All tournaments will be held at 7 max tables.
As usual, the guarantee of the flagship tournament will be increased. The Main Event for $109, starting on July 2 at 14:30 ET, will guarantee $250,000 ($100K more than usual).
Satellites are available for $5.5 to $15.

Main Event
$50,000 GTD Micro Series #32 Main Event starts on June 2 at 13:00 ET.
Structure:
- Starting stack: 100,000 chips (200BB).
The blinds raise every 7 minutes. - Late registration period with 10 reentries available for 25 levels (175 minutes).
- Final table deal available
A daily satellite is available from June 17 for $2.2 with two tickets added.
