PokerBros events: custom promotions for clubs

Club events

Various promotions have always been one of the main ways for poker rooms to retain the existing players. Until recently, mobile poker apps were a step behind in this regard. Jackpots and promotions from the agent - that's all the bonuses.

The developers of the PokerBros app recently implemented a valuable feature called "PokerBros events," which allowed club admins to quickly create any promotions for their players. 

Event settings include:

• Title and description.
• Choice of any poker variants and stakes.
• The number of winners, and the timing of the promo (from several hours to whatever).
• Three types of criteria to determine the winners of the challenges: Winnings (by the total amount of winnings), Hands (by the number of hands played), and Score (by the number of points scored, which may depend on the rake).

So, now the PokerBros clubs and unions have the opportunity to hold all sorts of races with extensive customization options. How do these events look from the player's point of view?

Suppose the club is currently running some kind of promotion. In that case, the "Events" widget is shown in the upper part of its lobby (right under the player's nickname). Click it to get a list of current promotions. You can easily see the name, the prize pool, and the promo period for each of them there.

Event description, type, eligible poker variants, and the current leaderboard can be found within the "Event details" menu (under a large banner with a countdown to the end of the event).

A Hall of Fame page has information about all winners of past promotions. Here you can search for the results of a specific finished promo.

So far, we have found PokerBros events only at one club. Still, other unions will likely take advantage of this novelty shortly because it can encourage the activity of players.
