$1,250,000 GTD WPT Global Spring Festival
WPT Global joins the hype with its Spring Festival, guaranteeing $1,250,000 in 85 tournaments from May 21st to June 4th. In this article, we analyze all the details of the tournament series.
Features of the series
In the past, WPT Global has already organized a Winter and a Summer Festival. With this week's announcement, the circle of events at a particular time of the year is getting bigger.
From May 21st to June 4th, WPT Global will organize the Spring Festival, guaranteeing $1,250,000 across 85 tournaments.
Details:
- All tournaments will be played in a regular version and a mini version
- Average buy-in of $108
- 3 PLO tournaments, with a $30,000 guaranteed Main Event
- KO, Hyper, Superstack, Super Bounty, Short Deck (SD), 6-max, 4-max
- A high roller tournament with $125,000 guaranteed and a $2,500 entry (mini version with $25k for $220)
There will be satellites available for all tournaments, but remember that these are not transferable and will expire at the end of the series. Below we highlight the most important events:

Main Events
The main events will be the WPT Prime and the WPT500, responsible for 25% of the total guaranteed of the series.
- $200,000 GTD WPT Prime for $1,060 will have thirteen starting flights from May 29, ending on June 4
- $100,000 GTD WPT500 from $530 from May 24 will have nine starting flights from May 24, ending on the 28th
The Sunday Slams will boost their guarantees to $100,000 on the last day of the series with the Spring Sunday Slam 3 PKO.
