Winning Poker Network releases its public roadmap
Having a roadmap is a standard business practice for planning a company’s future operations and investments. In the poker industry, GGNetwork was the first to launch it, and almost a year later, Winning Poker Network followed suit.
Winning Poker Network Public Roadmap
Today, Winning Poker Network shared via Twitter its public roadmap, a board that includes all future developments of the site and when will the next maintenances will be. The plan includes past and upcoming updates, features under construction, and more.
Like the GGPoker roadmap, WPN is using Trello to organize the information on different boards:
Welcome
A space to share ideas and in which Phil Nagy explains what to expect from the roadmap.
Current Promotions
Ongoing events and promotions on the network, including The Beast rake race, tournament series, welcome bonus, etc.
Future Plans
A backlog with the horizon of WPN; right now, this board includes:
- Purchase all-in equity, similar to insurance or all-in cashout;
- MTTs on mobile, a highly expected feature;
- Custom table design enhancements;
- Staking, one of the most popular GGNetwork features.
Coming Soon
Right now, this section is empty, but we assume that it will have premature ideas in development that won't be included in the next updates.
Next Update
This board includes the next scheduled downtime to implement new features. Now it includes:
- Multi-day PKOs;
- Custom bet-sizing;
- Client message center;
- Improvements in the fight against bots.
Future Updates
Two boards with features to be implemented in the following months after the next update. It now has a new fold & stay button, more improvements against bots, and a graphical chat replacing text chatbox.
Each future update task includes a card, but so far, there is no further information on each activity.
Past Updates
There are boards back to January 29, 2020, when Blitz Poker and Cyclones were launched. Each includes a date and the features implemented at that time. WPN highlights the introduction of new avatars, convert chips to BB at the tables, and updates on the fight against artificial intelligence.
Summary
With its public roadmap, Winning Poker Network becomes a more transparent site where players can check all the information in one place. In fact, it will have a positive effect on the trustworthiness of the company.
The launch of the roadmap is framed on the #Good4Poker movement initiated by Phil Nagy.
